This beach trip (as what my friends called) started my summer. Well not really, because after this trip, I took an exam on one of my subjects. But so far, it turned out to be good :)
March 28-29, was the scheduled date, but 3 days before, we haven't decided yet where we will be going. (Buti nalang, naghulog ng anghel si Lord, He gave us Carlos, who has a private beach in Batangas.) The trip is all set, budget, transpo, food, etc.
Before the beach trip, we stayed at JB's place but before I reached there, I encountered a little trouble along the way. My friends and I decided to meet at TriNoma around 5:00pm, pero 4:30 na, I'm still in the middle of Z. Roxas and Taft Ave. (Naliligo sa pawis dahil naipit sa sobrang traffic) So I just waited until I reached V. Cruz, LRT Station. I guess that day was my "unlucky day", the ticketing booth doesn't have any change for 20php. (Kamusta naman? Hapon na, wala pang barya? Wala bang sumasakay ng LRT at walang pang sukli?) But I was in a hurry so I just gave him 15 php. Then I reached EDSA Station where I will ride MRT. So far, okay naman. I was able to sit properly and because North Edsa is the last station, I didn't care at all if I'm sitting in the boy's area. (Basta comfortable, solve na! Hahaha. Pano ba naman kase ako maiilang "EH, I'M ONE OF THEM")
I was just in time when I reached TriNoma, we just waited a while for our "sundo", bought something to eat and drink. Then later that night, we bought some ingredients & foods that we need for the trip. We had our dinner, a little shot after, and a small talk over the night. (In Short Chismisan)
Around 3am, all things are set, packed inside the van. And we're all ready to go. We have to leave Manila before 7am due to car coding. The van is a 16 seater vehicle so we're not too crowded inside. I sat beside JB & Raym, so I can rest well. (Ang comfy kase ni Raym eh :D) The road trip took almost 3 hours.
The first thing that I've appreciated as I see the resort, was the beach house. It wasn't a modern nor an old house, it's only simple but entrancing. It is a 2-storey house, with dining, kitchen, shower area in the first floor; 4 bedrooms with toilet in each room in the second floor. It also has a wide family room and veranda, incase the family wants to hold a party. The house have caretakers too, who maintain the cleanliness of it.
After roaming around the house, I slept first. Later that afternoon, we had adobo and fried rice for lunch courtesy of JB's mom. After that, a little rest lang then off to beach.
It was high tide in the morning when we went there, good the water went low in the afternoon. A good time for "kayaking" and frisbee. One good thing about the resort is that, it has a sand bar where you can stay and have some drink in the middle of the beach, but sadly, it didn't appear due to high water.
That evening, I cooked sinigang (tamarind stew) for them while JB & Morts prepared the grilled pork. After dinner, they brought out all the "drinks" that we have, and started the "party" (Everybody's favorite. Haha)
Around 1am, I decided to sleep. Not because I'm drunk. Maybe I just got tired from the trip, from playing, and from paddling.
The next day, we ate egg & hotdog for breakfast, then prepared our stuffs. Before lunch, we left Carlos' place. We had a stop-over at Mushroom burger in Tagaytay which they serve burgers but instead of beef patties, they serve it with mushroom patty. Yummy and delicious but healthy.
At around 3pm, we arrived at Manila, and I was able to get home by 5pm. That trip was really a long way, but I can say that everyone enjoyed that beach trip.
Till next Beach trip with the Tropang gala ;)
